The image of the girl with her doll, surrounded by coloured squares and backed by amorphous jazz, was often more fascinating than the tv’s scheduled programmes. Who was she, why her, and wasn’t she too old for the doll?
test.tone defies the ultimately mundane nature of its sources. It utilises an almost consistent 111Hz tone popularised by prehistoric societies and continuing to shape-shift brains.
Anonym was born in but left Ipswich pretty darn quick. Moved around a lot till punk rock found me in the North of England. After happy years playing in bands I gravitated to all things electronic and have continued producing music ever since I afforded an atari and a sampler 16 years ago. Since then I have worked on a wide range of creative audio projects as a composer and producer of audio for film, video, theatre and the internet. I am currently working collaboratively on an audio visual project leading towards live performances in the near future.
